80/65-6 {10x3 255x80} Road Tyre (tube type) [Tuovt TD-8008 | Innova IA-1289 | HOTA A-3051]

• Full size 10x3 road tyre suit most full-size / full profile 10" scooters with 6" tubed rim including Dragon GTS including V2 (split rim models), Kaabo Mantis 10 and Wolf Warrior X, VSETT 10+, T10-DDM such as Zero 10 & 10X, Dragon X10 & MiniWalker, VDM-10 such as Bolzzen Dynamo & Gladiator, Dragon Raptor & e-Glide Mach 10, Bolzzen Commando 10" / Dragon Slayer and Mukuta 10+ (as replacement to Tuovt 255x80 semi-off road), Blade Mini.
• This series tyre is typical factory stock 10x3 road tyre on VSETT 10+ and the factory 3" option on Kaabo Mantis. Identical to the factory Dualtron "MiniMotors" branded tyre (which appears to be an ODM Tuovt).
• Urban wide style tread.
• Typical weight 768 grams (Tuovt), 690 grams (Innova - Supplied as Kaabo Factory Spare) and 680 grams (HOTA).
• This tyre has a relatively fine tread, with the centre relatively "slick" and relatively round contour for urban cornering while maintaining a bit of width for sand and other soft surfaces. The tyre also offers pretty good rim protection due to the extra coverage near the sidewalls. Offers good puncture resistance as the tread pattern is not "captive", the tread encourages sharp objects to be deflected.
• Red line. Tube type tyre (non-tubeless).
• Available as Tuovt (TD-8008), Innova (IA-1289) or HOTA A-3051. They are all very similar, with Tuovt being slightly heavier with similar thick sidewall as is that on the Kaabo Factory Innova. The Innova introduces half texture on the tyre surface near the edges, the HOTA has a full texture.
• Sidewall nameplate is 80/65-6, the Tuovt will often have a white 255x80 marking on the surface of the tyre.
• Distributor specification: Outer diameter: 250mm, Inner diameter: 150mm, Tyre width: 84mm. eScootNow measures 152mm inner diameter, inflated width of 77mm (3.03") and the thickness at "bead" is 6mm as expected for a tube type tyre. Width at bead 45mm.

Notes:

1. This tyre would likely provide better puncture resistance than road tyres with larger gaps in tread, such as the TurboTread DynoRoad SHM-XC 10x3.0 (80/65-6) Xuancheng X8024.
2. 10x3 tyres on 6" rims are also designated sizes of 80/65-6 and 255x80. In some instances, tyres such as CST 10x3.00-6 Performance Road which are wider (and also wider at the rim) can be fitted in lieu of 10x3 tyres, as can 90/55-6 (3.54") tyres.
3. Most scooters with 10x2.5 tyre can accommodate 10x3, for example earlier Zero 10X and Kaabo Mantis 10 models were initially 10x2.5 and subsequently offered from the factory with 10x3.
4. The comparable Semi off-road tyre is the Tuovt 255x80.
5. eScootNow recommends 10x2.5" Thickened or Ultra-Thickened tubes to accompany this tyre. 10x3 tubes are typically too large.
6. Nameplate designations of this type of tyre of other brands include Innova (Xuancheng) IA-1289 (650 grams), Xuancheng XC-1016S (tube type) & XC-8016 (tubeless). There is also a Minimotors branded version of the Tuovt TD-8008. The Innova's, along with Tuovt were factory stock tyres on common 10x3 models such as Kaabo Mantis, VSETT 10+ and the MiniMotors Bluetran Lightning.
7. Image below shows tyre fitted to Joyor S Series 48v series such as Bolzzen Commando & Dragon Slayer. This is a reasonably narrow rim, so shows more of a point/curve than on wider hubs such as Wolf Warrior X).
