eScootNow G Series - Detailed specifications
Compare aspects of the range such as braking capability, tyre/wheel offerings, weight and range expectations.
Expected Range
These real world estimates range to accommodate variations of riders from 70-85kgs, with/without inclines and the spirited habits of the rider to ride efficiently or heavy throttle. These ranges are typically half the OEM "nameplate" maximum range specifications.
Hill Climb
This is the hill climb, its reflective of some of the steepest hills you would encounter on a typical journey in hilly Brisbane suburbs. For this incline, single motor scooters will vary from needing to be walked (300 watts motor at 500w peak) through to achieving 23km/hr (single 800 watts motor at 1440 watts peak). Dual motor scooters such as entry level 2x600 watt motors totalling 1920 watts combined peak typically offer >26km/hr velocity. You can expect 37km/hr velocity for 2x800w with 2600w peak. The legal road speed limit in Queensland is 25km/hr, however the hill climb test indicates velocity and suggests the time to achieve the legal speed which supports responsive riding (for example, ability to reduce interaction with higher speed vehicular traffic).
