10x2.125 {-6} Tyre (tube type) [HY-10]
Product Details
Brand: by eScootNow
The 10x2.125 {-6} Tyre (tube type) [HY-10] is commonly fitted to:
Australian ODM makes of e-Glide and Mearth model G120.
Mearth S Pro (which is the 10" version of their S Series, non-pro is 8.5x2).
KuKirin M4.
Stocks are HY-10 designation which are observed with a pliable sidewall and generous 50mm width at bead to assist ease of fitting tube. Previous stocks were P1407D which measured 35mm width at bead.
Typical weight: 370 grams.
Notes:
Note there is also a 10x2.125 {-6.6} tyre (different rim size) which shares same nameplate size.
This is the narrowest tyre for 6" rim produced, typically inflating to an observed 2.16" (55mm). Select/early builds of models such as Inokim OX/OXO may have had this narrower 2.125" tyre factory fitted, in most instances retrofitted with a wider 10x2.5" tyre. For G120 models it is understood the front end requires 10x2.125 to clear the "forks".
Tyres that take on this form are sometimes metric size designated as 260x55 (10.23" x 2.16"). Mearth models are observed with Wanda (WL) designation P1407D (450 gram) or with Xuancheng (non-designated).
There has been some confusion amongst retailers regarding the rim size for Mearth S Pro tyres due to introduction of popular InMotion models that introduced 10x2.125 {-6.6} size. This retailer shows image of inappropriate {-6.6} tyre, whereas eSN, Boardstore & Eozzie & Bike Scooter Garage explicitly recognise supporting Mearth or the Mearth {-6} rim.
