Our current committed work in progress (WIP)
RAG status = 🚦 Red
> EXTREME DELAYS (8+ days) to clear order fulfilment backlog.
Initial order handling fee for non-members, currently at $80 applies. Allow for eight additional days for handling with Express Post and nine additional days for regular, above our SLA. We are attempting to catch up.
We received some 1.2 tonnes of stock in March following absence for eSN2026#JP-CN Chinaday mission to and are have warehouse transitions taking place through much of April.
While we take stock, remember you can ask your questions to our AI assistant for example "I placed my order with eScootNow 5 days ago. The order presents as processing, I have not received an update of status shipped or any tracking number by email as yet. When shall I expect it to be a) sent and b) delivered. My Postcode is 4053. It was to be delivered with Express Post" to fast track getting back on the tracks.
Causes: Perfect storm of a number of factors, notably heavy demand with several illegal electric "motorbike" retailers (that also sold eScooters) closing their doors. This has left many riders in Brisbane without their usual local support (e.g. warranty), servicing, repairs and available spares from their "seller".
eSN is working through Easter to get the rabbits out of the hat.
The typical busy seasons are the months of March and May, with high demand for order fulfilment. We prioritise fulfilment of orders which are requested to be sent with Express shipping. We will often uplift regular to express, complimentary, where there is marginal difference in cost to expedite to make up for some lost time from delayed fulfilment.
Significant external change influences, such as oil prices (primarily freight) and the incremental planning and readiness activities for the many impact scenarios.
Inquiry into e-mobility safety and use in Queensland: The enquiry and bill is also somewhat of a distraction, but important for the going concern for our members. RACQ, who called for the enquiry in media release and subsequent until end 2025 had messaging advising eScooters (PMD's) capable of exceeding 25km/hr were illegal.
They changed that misnomer in comms early 2026. Explains why BQ receive many calls from older, likely RACQ members. The brainwashing newsletters confusing the grey hairs. Many likely reside around Hope Island, in the Premier's seat of Broadwater. Jonte Bush (MP for Cooper) also gets them. People need to be educated.

We start the day planning with the Kookaburras. Orders expected to be processed that day have status set to "processing" and a status update email is sent to customer.
eSN does these productions every quarter with a public annual usually on 1st April. Stand-up (or scrum) is ceremony of the agile practice.

Remember there are workspaces of the SDIWC Committee for this work:
1) The Inquiry page which includes the 1223 submissions that informed the report, correspondence, transcripts, programs (agendas), questions and tabled documents
Briefing papers) adding 88 to the 1223 = 1311 artifacts. That work is finished, there no new content there.
2) The Legislation page is where the April works are located. Start with the explanatory notes. the first few pages. This workspace also has Report (tabled 4th March) and is the workspace to make an online submission.
Alternatively use this tool.
eSN suggests referencing the ambiguous "Device being designed to 25km/hr" as it returns to the pre November 2022 ambiguity. Most makes/models have at least 3 methods available in design and often these are implemented concurrently. Question the access to 60Km/hr roads
The Legislation attempted to progress through parliament on the days following Tuesday 24th March as reported by ABC. The bill impact impacts on certain (legitimate) rider cohorts including disability whom use "trikes" as mobility aid, requiring of them to undertake licencing.
The parents, they were well advised.

Perhaps the kids, influenced by social media, had their buyer decision making manipulated by the various retailer's social manipulation marketing teams. The platforms of Facebook, the social media marketing teams of several operators has resulted in the State has undertaken major reform. Rattled the industry, perhaps a shakedown for the best..
Our masterclass fulfilment is artesian cottage and boutique. Unlike 3PL, there are no robots here to pick up mis-labeled items, and our shipping is that of your choosing, we hand parcels over to the post office at 4PM daily then we rinse and repeat the following day to get the next bunch of riders back on the road.
For each item ordered - we pick, replenishment, check, pack, produce shipping label & lodge with the local post office. Our velocity ranges from 6-14 orders per full working day when orders are hygienic. We don't rush things, we value a high degree of accuracy so you can be assured you receive spares that work, so you can get to work, without the re-work within our SLA.
Video Explainer
