PVR Series Valve (PVR40, PVR50, PVR60, PVR70)

• PVR valves are the most common type of valve used on tubeless eScooter wheels. Easily identified by having a bent shape and seal that forms on the surface of the hole in the rim.
• Recommend to be replaced when renewing tyres.
• PVR50 is the most common size used on eScooters. The 70 degree version (often referred to as 45 degree) offers the most flexibility with placement and is easier to "pull through" when fitting.

Notes

1. Older Burn-e model 35Ah (Non-2) and earlier 32Ah (2 Max) and 28Ah (2 non-Max) are fitted with this PVR50 type. Newer NAMI hubs adopt TR438 type which are straight valves, which has a slightly larger 12.5mm seat. TR438 works all work well on NAMI hubs as they typically have a hole of 8.8-9.5mm. Much has to do with preference for straight or bent degree.
2. Occasionally, some owners will prefer to fit straight valves rather than original bent valves, to shield the valve stem from damage - such as in the Dragon Hurricane.
3. PVR40, PVR60 & PVR70 are not common on most makes/models of eScooters.
