Kaabo Pair Screw suit Mantis 10 (shaft) [M10x81 | M12x79]

• The Kaabo Pair Screw (suit Mantis 10) [M10x81 | M12x79] comprises of an internally-threaded shaft and two screws for each end.
• Available in two variants:
  • M10 x 81mm: Shaft for the spring bracket supporting the lower section of suspension (79.5mm excluding chamfer).
  • M12 x 79mm: Pivot point shaft for end of swing arm (77.5mm excluding chamfer).
• Typically required when existing has sheared or bent.
• Supplied individually.
• Genuine Kaabo factory spares.

Notes:

1. There is also an M8 x 29mm Pair Screw on Mantis 10. It forms part of the hinge folding mechanism. It resides horizontally, traversing the Folding Hinge. eSN recommends the TurboTight hinge service kit for that application as it uses a hardened steel dowel pin.
2. Kaabo Philippines periodic maintenance schedule for these parts:
   • Check every 1,000kms.
   • Replace every 2,000kms.
     • In most instances you will expect 5,000-10,000 klm's of service, particularly the larger M12x79 (pivot point end of swing arm). Greater rates of failure are observed with the thinner M10 x 81mm (spring bracket), which can fail without being evident, discovered when mechanical work is undertaken. Symptoms such as brake calliper or calliper bracket rubbing against rotor, when turning and/or under acceleration is often shaft related.
3. Will not suit Mantis 8 series (requires M10 x 110 and M12 x 84.5).
4. Apply medium strength (blue) thread locker, torque appropriately (not intended or need to be a fastener) and check periodically initially until it beds in.
