Kaabo Pair Screw suit Wolf Warrior X (shaft) [M8x21 M15x126 M10x128 M12x131]

Range of pair screws and rear shock bracket for Kaabo Wolf Warrior X (the Warrior 10).

Genuine Kaabo factory spares. Refer to the product image (table with BOM item number in column adjacent to picture). For some items, you can also reference the Wolf Warrior GT BOM for a build-of-materials diagram of the larger 11" Warrior to assist locate where these parts reside.

Replacement pair screws ("shafts / bolts"):

• Horizontal M8 x 21mm - Folding hinge pin. Effectively the stock equivalent of the Mantis Hinge Service Kit by eScootNow (single stem Mantis). Warrior X BOM item 77.
• Horizontal M10 x 128mm (Warrior X BOM item 54, equivalent Warrior GT BOM item 87). Rear shock bracket bolt (along the swing arm) that holds the rear shock bracket (BOM item 96). These ones are the thinnest of the long bolts and get punished making them more likely to shear as shown in product photos courtesy Scooteroo Perth. A redesign sometime 2024-2026 observes newer design (as per current stocks and shown in product images).
• Horizontal M12 x 131mm (Warrior X BOM item 55, equivalent Warrior GT BOM item 99). Swing arm bolt (end of swing arm).
• Vertical M15 x 126mm (Warrior X item 70, equivalent Warrior GT BOM item 50). For stem rotating part - head sits inside front fender. Precise measurement is 125.7mm, often referenced as 125mm amongst some sellers and originally as 128mm on older factory pricelists.

Rear shock bracket that seats the spring/suspension:

• Rear spring bracket (Warrior X BOM item 58, equivalent Warrior GT BOM item 96). The M10 x 128mm pair screw supports this plate. Unlike the larger 11/GT shock bracket, the Warrior X does not use any self-lubricating bearings. The M10 pair screw fits directly into the 10mm hole in the casting of the bracket.

Notes:

1. Pair screw sizing / naming convention: M = outer diameter of shaft (e.g. M15 = 15mm shaft) and length is the length of the shaft (excluding screws each end).

      1. The earlier design had a pair of shorter screws of approx 22mm length (15 threads). Without screws has weight of 56.5 grams. They tend to shear 22mm from the end, near swing arm..
         
         
      2. The newer design has a pair of longer screws of 32mm length (24 threads). Without screws has weight of 51.1 grams. They tend to shear 32mm from the end, near rear shock bracket.
         
         
         
   3. Ensure the hole in the rear shock bracket casting is a precise 10mm. Retrofit a SF-1F (flanged) self lubricating bearing to restore bracket, or replace. You can also consider fitting a longer pair of screws each end, to utilise the entirety of thread in the shaft.

4. Many of these pair screws are typically renewed as a service item to retain everything nice and tight, such as preventing brake callipers fouling on disc rotors when cornering. They are also required in event of sheering / failure or being loose and dislodging and should be renewed as part of service intervals, particularly the relatively thin M10x128 screw. Kaabo Philippines recommend checking pair screws on the Mantis at 1,000kms and renewing at 2,000kms.
