Facebook: Severed
eSN has a few assets on Meta platforms, including extensive knowledge and R&D with community of riders. Effective Thursday 11th of September:
Meta suspended eSN's administration of:
and temporarily took down:
As a result, signals on these channels are impacted. You will have to get on to us "on the blower" (phone), email or https://www.facebook.com/brendan.hemmings
So how did we get in jail and what's the go on restoration?
Ironically that 2nd Thursday of September is RUOK day where you would ordinarily catch up with friends, acquaintances and fellow avid riders through Messenger. It co-insided with the Charlie Kirk (that saw many loose their jobs) and likely an increased how the AI heuristics evaluate keywords to determine inappropriate use. It is ironic as the same account that has been suspended is supposed to manage and uphold community standards of communities (groups) that are hosted on the platform. The good folks at Big Picture Group (EMOTE DIGITAL - Facebook Business Partner) can implement a $2,000 work around to restore admin of the eSN page and group, but nothing about the personal profile. The local folks at Supreme Digital also noted an increase in suspensions impacting asset to business asset. In August 2025 the Australian Broadcasting (ABC) reported briefly on two Western Australia businesses impacted.
It is understood the best way to get the account back is to follow superpoopman100's advice: file a small claims lawsuit's advice: file a small claims lawsuit.
Unlike Fangfzhong (FZ) shocks, this suspension isn't ideal. Here is the experience....
The transparency, has it's own domain. So good you cannot see it, but the small stuff doesn't matter right. Let's just generalise and say it was "Technology"...
This suspension was fitted as soon as comment was made in this post on Kaabo Wolf King GTR Facebook group referencing bearings of Warriors and BOM's (build-of-materials). Perhaps the algorithm needed more springs and/or shocks, less explosives and warfare. Maybe the technology needs to go for a ride or spend some time on the tools.
Meta's review response/resolve SLA is not when, but when not the review will be actioned. The will not period is just over a day, that expired Friday 12th September, so hopefully the review will be completed sometime before the next six months. Other than the appeal submitted on day of suspension, the only other way of "contact" was a billing request through Google Ads via a new (unrelated) account.
With Meta having laid off many who might be able to check if the computer got it wrong you have a SLA of not when, but when not the review will be actioned.
The lawyer (of same name) Mark Zuckerberg has fitted suspensions several times and taking legal action to reduce future service intervals.
Let's see if the 48 hour SLA on the billing enquiry is actioned.
Meanwhile, Harvard students show Meta smart glasses can dox anyone in seconds:
