The 90/55-6.5 Semi Off-Road tyre is the stock tyre on 6.5" rim models of:
Dragon Predator.
Dragon Cyclone (10" models including Pro).
This tyre has an identical tread pattern to the 6" rim Tuovt 90/55-6 which is the stock tyre on 6" rim models. This -6.5" version maintains similar outer diameter due to lower /55 profile.
Available in choice of Tuovt TD-8009-04 (900 grams, as shown in product images) or the near identical tread pattern TurboTread DynoGrip which is transitioning from BL-6003 (950 grams) to CY1004, stock expected 2026 Q4.
Red line.
Notes:
When out of stock, or for road consider slightly larger 100/55-6.5 for rear on Predator 6.5" rim models (for example the DynoRoads of ULIP and Xuancheng and potentially the CST may also suit). Predator front may lack clearance with shock for anything above the stock 90/55-6.5, although the 100/55-6.5 is 7mm smaller diameter than the "squarer" 90/65-6.5 which have also been observed to fit Predator front/rear. On these fine margins, nameplate size and shape influence clearance.
Production runs of Dragon Cyclone and Predator mid-late 2024 were built with 6.5" rim motors rather than the usual 6". Check your existing tyre nameplate to confirm size. The 6.5" models have VIN on Cyclone of DRA24CYCLONEPRO311 - DRA24CYCLONEPRO0400 and Predator 2024 models from DRA24PREDATOR0251+. For 6.5" rim models consider the stock Tuovt 90/55-6.5 tyre.
It is observed on many of the tyres manufactured by KGUSA and TUOVT that there is an area inside the tyre that is thicker. Assumed an artefact of the production process. Consider locating this area appropriately for balance, such as opposite to the valve which can offset the weight differential. You can also experiment rotating the tyre to find the best ballance. This video shows how to find the area that will be thicker.
This is a relatively new size, introduced Q3 2024. The Tuovt can bubble under heat stress (motor, brake & road heat - keep well inflated to reduce resistance).
