The 10x2.50 {-6.5} & 60/70-6.5 Tyre (tubeless, OSH) [CST C-9351 | Xuancheng XC-060] is a popular size which is factory fitted as stock tyre on most Ninebot models of:
The original Max.
The subsequent Max with designation G30P, G30L & G30LP and Max 2 (G65).
The front of the Max G2 (this model introduced rear suspension). Max G2 rear uses larger rim 60/65-6.9.
Ninebot F2 series (including Plus and Pro). Will not suit F20 & F25, they require 10x2.125 {-6.6}.
Earlier models (such as Max) adopted 60/70-6.5 nameplate size. F2 series progressed to 10x2.50. Both sizes are interchangeable.
Segway market their self healing tyre as (Ninebot "DuraGel"). Most Ninebot models have factory fitted self-healing liner tyres.
also suits:
InMotion S1
Apollo City Pro
Available in three variants:
Xuancheng XC-060without Self Healing liner (60/70-6.5), as a lower cost alternative.
CST C-9351 with Self-Healing liner as either:
Without Ninebot branding (60/70-6.5) which is factory fitted on Max models.
With Ninebot branding (10x2.50{-6.5}) which is factory fitted on F2 series models.
Tyre is identical to the without branding version, only difference being white/orange label on one side and packaged in Segway bubble wrap.
All variants are relatively "easy-to-fit" due to the pliable / flexible sidewall, offering the best fitting experience if you not experienced fitting tubeless tyres on solid rims.
Typical weight 400 grams on non-liner Xuancheng and 770 grams with the CST self healing liner version.
The self-healing lining is a thick lining of sticky stuff ("goo") that can assist seal punctures, also known as "puncture-proof" or "run flat". It has a higher viscosity than liquid sealants and typically will not run and damage hub alloy if the tyre is renewed periodically (<24 months).
Notes:
This tyres have similar "easy fit" pliable properties as the Chao Yang [H-789] which adopts 10x2.50-6.5 nameplate (Chao Yang runs at softer 44PSI). The CST CM531 tyres are somewhat firmer to fit. They are all interchangeable.
eSN recommends the aftermarket CST [CM531] (which adopts 10x2.50-6.5 nameplate) as an "tough" resilient alternative if self-healing liner is not required. The CM531 is a heavier tyre running at a slightly lower 50PSI tyre pressure and is 6mm wider at bead which can help forming initial seal on bead when fitting. The CM531 presents as a very strong tyre, slightly more challenging to fit.
All Ninebot Max factory original tyres (this tyre and it's Innova IA-2146 predecessor) have self-healing liner. You can typically estimate how long the tyre has been fitted based on the condition of the liner. Ensure the rim is cleaned up to help form seal at bead and remove any liner residual when fitting.
MoovMoov Belgium have great video showing how to change rear tyre on the Ninebot Max series.
Tyres marketed as "Genuine / Original Ninebot" are typically sourced through Segway-Ninebot and usually supplied in bubble wrap with a Segway sticker. They may have an additional nameplate label (white) on sidewall and identifier that differs to C-9351. There are no other observed differences..
There is some confusion amongst retailers such as Eco Scooters incorrectly marketing Ninebot F20 / F25 (and related models) requiring 10x2.125 and Eco Motion market 10x2.50 as suitable for F2 series.
