Product Details
- The 60/70-6.5 is a popular size tyre which is factory fitted as stock tyre on most Ninebot Max series models (except G2 rear). This size is also suitable for InMotion S1 and Apollo City Pro.
- Available in two variants:
- Xuancheng XC-060 which is a very easy-to-fit tyre due to the pliable / flexible sidewall, offering the best fitting experience if you not experienced fitting tubeless tyres on solid rims. It is without (non) Self Healing (NSH).
- CST C-9351 which is a heavier tyre with Self-Healing (SH) liner. It is the factory original fitted on Ninebot Max models.
- This size designation is equivalent with convention of 10x2.5-6.5 and tyres of that size can typically be used interchangeability.
- This size supports Ninebot Max models of:
- The original Max.
- The subsequent Max models with designation G30P, G30L and G30LP (both generations) including "Max 2" (G65e).
- The front of the Max G2 (G65 designation, this model introduced rear suspension).
- Max G2 rear uses larger rim 60/65-6.9 tyre.
- Typical weight 400 grams on non-liner Xuancheng and 770 grams with the CST self healing liner version.
- The self-healing lining is a thick lining of sticky stuff ("goo") that can assist seal punctures, also known as "puncture-proof" or "run flat". It has a higher viscosity than liquid sealants and typically will not run and damage hub alloy if the tyre is renewed periodically (<24 months).
- Nameplate tyre pressure: 55PSI.
- Width at bead: 56mm.
- Tubeless.
- CST branded.
Notes:
- eSN recommends the aftermarket CST 10x2.50-6.5 CM531 (green line) as an "tough" alternative to this tyre if self-healing liner is not required. It is a heavier tyre running at a slightly lower 50PSI tyre pressure and is 6mm wider at bead which can help forming initial seal on bead when fitting. Due to the stronger construction of the CM531 (green line), fitting is slightly more challenging than the more pliable Xuancheng XC-060.
- The Chao Yang 10x2.50-6.5 H-789 which runs a relatively low 44PSI is an even more pliable tyre, making it the easiest to fit. It is also without liner.
- All Ninebot Max factory original tyres (this CST C-9351 and Innova IA-2146 predecessor) have self-healing liner. You can typically estimate how long the tyre has been fitted based on the condition of the liner. Ensure the rim is cleaned up to help form seal at bead.
- MoovMoov Belgium have a couple of good installation videos for Ninebot Max.
- Ninebot adopted an Innova IA-2146 60/70-6.5 on earlier models, prior to transition to CST. Tyres marketed as Genuine Ninebot are sourced through Segway-Ninebot and typically supplied in bubble wrap with a Segway sticker and may have an additional nameplate label (white) on sidewall. This is the only observed difference between genuine and that of the OEM tyre (CST).
- Understood to be identical to that stocked by iScoot and Bike Scooter City.
- The two last product images shows fitted to Ninebot Max G30.
