CST 8.5x2.00-5.5 Tube 45/90 degree

• The CST 8.5x2.00-5.5 Tube 90 degree is well recognised tube suited for 5.5" rims with CST 8.5x2.00-5.5 or 8½x2 (50-139) tyres:
• Suits:
  • Inokim:
    • Light 2 series models (later builds, 90 degree best for rear motor hub, 45 degree front non-motor).
      • Early Light 2 builds were 5.3" rim requiring 8½x2 (50-134) {-5.3} tube for 8½x2 (50-134) {-5.3} Tyre.
      • Super Light models transitioned to CST 8.5x2.00-5.5 tyre which requires 8.5x2.00-5.5 tube.
    • Apollo City (pre-2022 models).
      • Later models progressed to Tubeless 10x2.50-6.5 tyres.
• 45 or 90 degree with 90 degree tilt.The bend in the valve is relatively close to the tube, allowing valve to sit close to the rim.
• 90 gram weight with reinforced valve positioned slightly off center of tube.
• CST Branded. Silver coloured stem.

Notes:

1. This tube is often (often inappropriately to varying degree) fitted in 5.3" rims that are better suited to HOTA 8.5x2 {142} tubes.
2. There is some ambiguity across the generations of Inokim Light. My Mobelity (Inokim specialist Belgium) recommend this tube for Inokim Light 1 and 2 without reference to the earlier generation 8½x2 (50-134) {-5.3} Tyres.
