"Crown" shape pads, named due to a distinct "Crown" stylisation on the tail. These are a narrow pad and fit into most rectangular callipers of:
- NUTT's JAK-8 series mechanical cable calliper (stocked by eSN). This is an OEM calliper manufactured by Lanxi Jieke Sports Apparatus Manufacturing CO., LTD, adopted by many makes and models including:.
  - VDM-10 series: including ODM's such as Dragon Raptor (non-pro), eGlide MACH 10/10R, Bolzzen Dynamo & Gladiator Gen 1 (non-hydraulic), Carbon Oxy and select builds of Apollo Ghost.
  - T10-DDM and T11-DDM adopted by non-hydraulic versions of Zero 10X and 11X, Dragon Hunter X10, Bexley and Black Edition. This pad can also be used in the Limited models that feature the NUTT callipers including Hunter X11.
  - T8-DDM (Zero 8X), T9 (Zero 9, Dragon X9), T10 (Zero 10).
- The calliper on Segway Ninebot GT1 and GT2 models.
- Crown can also be retrofitted to NUTT A5-D hydraulic calliper, although eSN recommends using the NUTT YD-01 cooling enhanced pad. The Crown can be used in these callipers if needing different compounds to that of NUTT's pad. You can also use Zoom pads (which are deeper and a little wider).
- Can be fitted in XOD H800/880 as a slightly narrower alternative to the more appropriate fitting Shimano B01S/M315 pads. These callipers were black with Dragon branding on early model Dragon Cyclone Pro models and are also on some Blade (GT) and Mercane (G3 Pro) models. These callipers are typically fitted with non-finned pads. The cooling enhanced finned pad can be fitted as an uplift to the stock non-finned pads for improved temperature performance in demanding environments. Newer Cyclone models have a yellow calliper that uses a hook pad (TurboBrake HB427-H).
The pad may be suitable for use in other entry callipers that require a rectangular shaped pad, if a more appropriate is not available.

Supplied as a set (pair) two pads, one for each side with retaining spring and pin. Order two sets for both front and rear.

These "Crown" pads have a relatively narrow width of approximately 29.75mm which allows them to fit into most callipers requiring this rectangular shaped pad and hence often (inappropriately) used as a "fit all" to a reasonable extent.
- Although they may "fit" in callipers that are designed to accommodate slightly wider pads, it's best practice to use the more type-specific appropriately sized pad. The crown is often marketed and/or fitted (and do function) in lieu of wider and/or deeper pads. There are four main types - this crown, Zoom, NUTT and Shimano B01S. BlingAU adopts a "standard rectangular" in lieu of the crown.
- Product descriptions of sellers tends to be influenced by makes/models they specialise in (the callipers they are familiar with). Callipers amongst makes/models can also differ amongst regions or badge (such as limited edition models or revisions). In some cases sellers will describe pad application inappropriately or not complete. For example, Rev Rides in USA specialises in Zero and VSETT and mostly deal with Zoom and NUTT hydraulic callipers. They have a well described brake pad product listing recommending the NUTT pad in the NUTT A5-D equipped VSETT models and Zoom pad in the Zoom calliper. In contrast, this MACURY Store suggest the Crown pad suitable for VSETT, eSN understands it is suitable for the NUTT calliper but not the Zoom (due to being insufficiently deep). Ride Electric market the crown pad as suitable for for 10X, but ideally in eSN's view it should only be used in the JAK-8 mechanical/cable calliper models, hydraulic should use Zoom or NUTT on the limited. Likewise BSC market crowns as suitable for the early model Cyclone that run NUTT A5-D callipers, but do not offer the NUTT pads which isn't ideal. Their catalogue is not very informative with respect to Zoom and models that use Zoom (e.g. Lightning v2) and NUTT (Cyclone, Hunter 11X). They market their Crown as "Rectangular Shape (suit Dragon X10, Raptor, DDM VDM, Cyclone Pro, Zero 8X/10X/11X, VSETT)". eSN suggests to not use the Crown pad in Zero (Zoom) and to lesser extent VSETT (NUTT) Hydraulic systems. VSETT 10+ Brake Pad suggests Zoom is good for the Zoom models, but they really may not be ideal for NUTT callipers. Tread carefully and check your placement, adjust washers if necessary!
- The height of the pad surface on Shimano B01S pad is 16.4mm, the Finned NUTT pads are 13.7mm and Crown is 14.1mm depth so the surface contact area may shift when substituting pads. You can see them in the image below.
- Remember, the existing pad inside the calliper may not be the manufacturer intended original type specific if it has had subsequently been replaced without your knowledge with an improper alternative.
Image below shows Zoom pad, Shimano B01S/M315, NUTT Cooling Enhanced YD-01, an uncommon non-finned pad that is occasionally seen in NUTT callipers, and the Crown (this pad) which is on the far right.
Image below shows premature failure of rotor on Logan 2-Piston calliper. Although the Crown pad will fit into this calliper, it is not as deep as the more appropriately sized original Shimano B01S/M315. Do not use this crown pad universally! Fit the appropriate type-specific pad. Precise size and placement is important.
Image below shows the Dragon Cyclone Pro which adopts an Dragon branded XOD H-800/880 calliper with the original factory fitted non-finned pad. Although this Crown Pad will fit in the calliper, the Shimano B01S/M315 Pad has more appropriate width, as does the NUTT YD-01 cooling enhanced pad.
