Ruggedised Folding Stem Clamp and Quick Release Locks (suit VDM-10 Dragon Raptor / T10-DDM Zero 10X / X11-DDM Zero 11X)

• The DDM VDM-10 Ruggedised Folding Stem Clamp is a strengthened clamp fabricated from a CNC machined block. It performs better due to composition and 50mm length, longer than the standard clamp which is 34mm length.
• Suits models of:
  • VDM-10 including models of:
    • Dragon Raptor.
    • Apollo Ghost.
    • Carbon Oxy.
    • e-Glide MACH 10/10R.
    • Bolzzen Gladiator (and the former model Dynamo).

• DDM series including:
  • X8-DDM such as Zero 8X
  • T10-DDM such as Zero 10X and other ODM's such as Dragon Hunter X10, Bexley & Black Edition 10X & MiniWalker ODM's.
  • X11-DDM such as Zero 11X and other ODM's such as Dragon X11 and Black Edition 11X ODM's.
• Dualtron models with 45mm diameter stem such as DT3, Spider & Thunder.
• Available as black or red clamp, or without clamp (if only two quick locks required).
• Includes four quick release locks, two black and two red.
• Optional folding hinge renewal kit includes:
  • M8 40mm hardened steel dowel pin. This replaces the stock M8 hinge bolt (pair screw) which will deformed over time resulting in damage to the casting in the stem and hinge block resulting in a loose fit. The purpose and installation is similar to, and described on the product page of the TurboTight Mantis Hinge Service kit.
  • Two pars (2x2) of M6 12.9 high tensile flat head grub screws to renew the stock grub screws in the folding hinge which may have worn thread. Softer grade screws, such as stainless are also suitable (pro's/cons of each). Tapered style heads of cup and cone are not suitable, must be flat:
    • A pair of 8mm length which is the factory stock length, and
    • Longer 10mm for where there is indentation from wear on the alloy casting in the block of the the non-rotating shaft.
      
      Pro kit (planned Q4 2026, shown below) will also include:
      • One 8x10x12mm self-lubricating bearing to retrofit in the non-rotating shaft to refactor hole in the alloy casting of the block which forms the center of the pivot point. To fit this, drill the 8mm hole out to 10mm then insert the bearing.
      • Two pairs (2x2) of bushings for the stem, fit as appropriate as relevant to the extent of wear around the cast holes in the alloy stem:
        • A pair of 8x10x12mm bushings:
          • These refactor the casting in the stem with a thin bushing. Best fitted when wear is intermediate. To fit this, drill the 8mm hole each side of stem out to a nice round diameter of 10mm. You can then fit the bushings to restore a nice precice 8mm hole for the dowel pin.
        • A pair of 8x12x12mm bushings:
          • These also refactor the casting in the stem, similar to above but with a thicker bushing for instances when the casting is more significantly deformed requiring a larger (12mm) hole to be round. To fit this, drill the 8mm hole each side of stem out to 10mm.

• Typically used to renew when original clamp has lost strength, or seeking a thicker, stronger alternative that has less wobble.
