eScootNow holds local Brisbane stock of popular LED Strip and controllers to suit 5V systems to next level your electric scooter night visibility.
These strips are typically powered from USB battery banks, or from your eScooter battery with 5 volt regulation with a buck converter or Dual USB Dashboard Output.
These WS2812B 3-pin RGB "dream colour" strips can be cut at individual LED's or daisy-chained with included pass-through or split with the 40cm JST SM Y splitter option if necessary, The Y splitter allows you to run two separate strips in parallel from the output of one controller.
Lithium button battery is provided with remote (not installed, separate in package).
The controller offers 300 or so factory-set light scenes and you can add around 10 of these to the DIY configuration for easy access. The remote uses wireless, not infra-red, enabling the controller to be housed without impacting remote functionality.
The controller retains the chosen scene during power-cycling, so you simply set your desired scene set and only need the remote if you need to change something.
60/m density is recommended for scooter decking (60 RGB led emitters per meter, peak of 18W per meter). The 96/m density is the choice for the "continuous" strip look at 28.8W peak per meter, however may appear to be "too much" as with that density comes a lot of brightness and 36% additional power draw over the 60/m. 96/m is typically used for smaller surfaces such as Helmet Bling by eScootNow.
IP65 strip is weather resistant (silicon encased). IP30 has no protection, and typically coupled with the silicon neon tube option that encases the strip as used in the by Helmet Bling by eScootNow.
