Wire Collection Board / Hub suit Kaabo Mantis and Wolf Warrior (HUB-1)

• The Kaabo Wire Collection Board interconnects wiring in Kaabo models of Mantis and Wolf Warrior that use JST XH/XHB connectors (typically white). It is also responsible for producing the lower voltage required for most of the lighting circuits.
• Alternatively known as Wire Collection Board, Hub Assembly Board (or Hub), Line Collect Box (Line Board), Distribution Board, Collar Box and Light Box.
• Nameplate designation HUB-1. Suitable universally across all Kaabo makes that adopt the JST XH/XHB design which was initially introduced in inaugural Mantis 8 Pro, 2022+ Mantis 10 series, Wolf Warrior X and the Wolf Warrior GT (including King GT).
• Available in two versions:
  • Inaugural: This version adopts the inaugural design which observable inductor:
    
  • Newer: This version incorporates an inductor component (copper winding) and includes two additional 3-pin connectors (green and yellow) which have unknown designation:
    
    It is understood both versions have same functionality/interoperability. The newer version appears to be a continuous improvement to improve power quality (harmonic distortion and noise) which can upset electrical circuits especially signalling (comms errors etc). Some implementations required a black wire connecting the HUB-1 to a deck screw to ground the circuit to prevent unexpected behaviour (headlight flickering etc). Potentially this is why the inductor component is now included. The newer is sourced off the Mantis factory spares parts list.

• An XH/XHB Plug Set is available as option:
  • Contains 12 white XH/XHB housings (the white plugs) being 1x9-pin, 3x8-pin, 3x3-pin and 5x2-pin (5 of 10) plus 40 metal female crimp pin inserts.
    This is generally sufficient to connect everything, but in most instances existing plugs and pins are re-used. Tooling is required to crimp the pins to the wire.
    
    
• Typically required in event of failure from short circuit, water ingress etc. HUB-1 is responsible for almost everything that is connected, failure of the active components may be observed as low voltage lighting not operating correctly.
• Genuine Kaabo factory spare.

Notes:

1. The inaugural versions are without diagram on the enclosure. The newer version has diagram on bottom of the enclosure (with designation TL on top left)
2. Not suitable for your older Warriors such as Wolf Warrior 11 and Wolf Warrior 11 King as they do not use a HUB-1, the harness directly interconnect via black JST SM connectors.
3. As shown on Wolf Warrior GT BOM Item 13.
4. This is not a Mantis King GT distribution board that has fixed line cord cables with connectors.
