Chao Yang 80/60-6 Semi Off-Road Tyre (tubeless) [H-860]

• Entry level Semi Off-Road 3" tyre suit most full-size / full profile 10" scooters with relatively wide 6" tubeless rim. This is the stock factory tyre on Dragon GTR (including V2) which are tubeless.
• Semi Off road tread. This tyre has a larger gap between tread, matching grip of full off-road tyres on soft surfaces. It has a relatively thin 3mm tread depth, combined with the larger tread gap will wear quickly on hard surfaces. It also sits quite "square" with a large contact surface area which makes the tyre strong (and protects rims reasonably well), but with reduced cornering responsiveness.
• This tyre has a 9.7" diameter with a 4mm smaller sidewall profile than typical 10x3 tyres. It does not round out significantly under inflation, retaining that "square" form. This improves rim protection but impacts hard surface cornering performance.
• Typical weight 750 grams.
• Width at bead: 75mm
• Nameplate tyre pressure: 41PSI, Recommended Rim MT 2.15 (2.15" / 54mm)
• Tubeless / Vacuum.

Notes:

1. The Ultra Thickened 10x2.5" inner tube is recommended for this tyre where tubes are required (typically split rim hubs) as this tyre does not have very high profile for a 10x3 tube, noting GTR is tubeless.
2. 80/60-6 is typically interchangeable with other 10x3 sizes on 6" rim that are wide at bead including s CST 10x3.00-6 Performance Road, Tuovt 90/55-6 and where clearance allows the big high profile DynoSlick 90/65-6.
3. If riding mostly on hard surfaces (road) on relatively wide rim (such as GTR/GTS and Nami Klima) eScootNow recommends considering the performance road tyre offerings such as CST 10x3.00-6 Performance Road and Tuovt 90/55-6 Road.
4. If wanting to maintain an off-road style tread on relatively wide rim (such as GTR/GTS and Nami Klima), consider these Semi-Off road performance tyres:
   • Tuovt 90/55-6 which has a slightly thicker 3.5mm tread in Non-Self healing or Self Healing variants.
   • DynoGrip 10x3.00-6 (compatible 80/65-6) as an in-house entry-level alternative from the TurboTread range - that alternative has a slightly higher profile than 80/60-6, and sits narrower, with a sharper footprint to reduce resistance on hard surfaces, and is more rounded (curved) to assist cornering response.
