Throttle suit earlier "first generation" models of Dragon Predator (Langfeite C5). Specifically models with serial to DRA24PREDATOR0331.
Wired for Plug-and-play installation with 3-pin yellow male M8 connector. If the plug and throttle looks the same as existing model, this will suit.
The throttle has a well received vertical mechanism (Wuxing 300X), allowing for rider to govern throttle with accuracy while retaining a good secure grip on handlebars.
Typically required when replacement is needed from physical damage, water ingress or plug pin damage.
The pinouts observed follow the convention of Bafang BBSHD pinouts (shown in diagram on this page), but with a male connector which makes the pinouts specific and proprietary to the Langfeite C5 / Dragon Predator wiring system design. As you look at the front face of the male connector attached to the cable leading to the throttle, with the notch at bottom, left is +ve, signal is top and -ve is right. This convention is different to the other 4 common conventions as documented on the conversion cable page.
Ohms readings (observed on multimeter):
+ve (left) to signal (top) 7.8K ohms
-ve (right) to signal (top) 6.4K ohms
Observed pinouts (for KTRB throttle, as you look at the front face of the conversion cable)
Male (to harness)Blue Signal center (top, furthest from notch)
Red +ve left
Black -ve right
to Female (KTRB).
Black -ve center (top, furthest from notch)
Red +ve left
Blue Signal right
