TurboTorch Casual 10000p/42Wh Flashlight [BT60]
Product Details
Brand: TurboTorch
The TurboTorch Casual 10000p/42Wh Flashlight [BT60] delivers an impressive peak 10,000 lumen (lm) of light output with 42 Watt Hours (Wh) battery. This flashlight (not a headlight) is fitted with a "pen clasp" (rather than handlebar bracket) allowing it attached to rider belt.
The Quad (4) "P90" emitters (derived from Cree XHP series) produce an observed colour of approximately 7500 kelvin (which is quite cold). Thermal management will drop output from peak of "10,000 lumen" (which is not sustainable) to what reflects approximately 4,000 lumens (high) within first minute of use.
Lens presents a slightly brighter area in center of 10 degree beamwidth and at lower intensity extends out to 30 degrees (broad). It is broader than any of the other eSN TurboTorch products.
The lens is typical of many of the sub $100 Chinese LED light fixtures and the "light bars" such as those on AliExpress whereby it is too broad and therefore not appropriate for eScooter headlight use, but great for flashlight application.
42Wh delivered by 12,800mAh battery (4 x 3200mAh 18650 cells) with USB Type C charging port. Does not support concurrent charge.
The light will not operate when USB Type C is connected.
Supports USB Type A output (5V 2A) to charge other USB devices.
Expect runtimes of:
2.5 hours on high (at ~16 watts, estimated to be 4,000 lumen).
8+ hours on medium (at ~5 watts, estimated to be 1,250 lumen).
14+ hours on low (at ~3 watts, estimated to be 700 lumen).
UI: 1. Low, 2. Medium, 3. High, 6. OFF (long hold also OFF). Double-click for 1. Super-Hi (10,000p), 2. Flash, 3. SOS, 4. OFF.
Multi-colour LED (green, red) to show Battery Status.
IPX5 waterproof aluminium alloy housing with "pen clasp" belt-bracket.
