TurboTorch Bushmaster 8200/M8 Headlight is a 6-LED, ultra-high performance, aftermarket headlight for plug-and-play fitment into eScooter models of NAMI and Teverun (the later via Conversion Cable).
The luminaire draws 100 watts across six CREE XHP50.2 emitters and puts out a sharp but not too cold 6000 Kelvin (K) colour temperature producing 8200 Lumen (lm) with a four emitters with a long-throw beam width of 10 degree and two low beam at 60x15 degrees.
As an upgrade from stock headlights, Bushmaster 8200/M8 throws a lot more light a good 10-60 meters ahead of the rider.
Includes handlebar remote switch which is secured with a green O ring (three sizes).
The UI (user interface) is factory configured to eSN design requirement which is purposed specifically for use on eScooters that have a factory stock headlight switch. When power is applied to the fixture, the headlight starts automatically in low brightness mode. Modes are cycled with either remote button or the button in order:
1st: Low (default when power applied to light).
2nd: Medium.
3rd: High.
Subsequent button press reverts to 1st (loop)
Long hold = Off.
Supports wide voltage 12-90V.
NAMI Plug-and-play, fitted with red 2-pin M8 connector to either replace or compliment stock headlight, powered from headlight circuit or Auxiliary Power Output on TurboTap NFC Bypass Switch.
The mounting plate is 40mm wide, suitable as drop-in-replacement with stock holder/brackets from NAMI, Teverun and Kaabo. An optional M5 Hardware Kit is available if needing to renew the nut/bolt. The kit includes an M5x50mm bolt (304 A2-70 stainless), M5 Bakelite Nut, M5 Lock Nut, M5 Wedge Washer and a couple of fine tuning washers.
With mounting, you can either replace or co-exist with existing headlight:
Replace the existing headlight, such as those on NAMI, Teverun or Kaabo and re-use existing holder/bracket such as NAMI Head Light Holder or Kaabo Bracket.
Co-exist (add) the TurboTorch as an additional light in conjunction with the stock NAMI headlight, running both concurrently with these items:
Video demonstrates the Top Hat Hood Kit under design scheduled for release to market availability Q3 2026. Filmed on the Clem Jones Promenade (Brisbane, Australia) adjacent to South Bank forecourt. Clem ripped up the electric trams and deployed diesel busses after the Paddington tram depot fire. Disregard old mate eBike punter who distracted the objective to show how the hood shields light from path walkers.
Additional journey footage with more observations from the path walker punters including applause on the impressiveness of Bushmaster 8200's performance.
Footage of rider field report from Chicago, Illinois, USA of the Bushmaster 8200 fitted to NAMI Burn-e. The camera panning off to the side denotes remote switch press (low, medium, high). The rider, Darryl (ESN-SO3564) runs the Kaabo Wolf Warrior headlight concurrently with Bushmaster 8200. The high CRI and 6000K kelvin across Bushmaster and Cobra helps differentiate between stick and cottonmouth. For those closer to eSN and surrounds, that would be a Cane Toad and a rock. Footage shows inaugural model 8200 with 4x10 degree spot, 2x15x60 degree wide).

Manufactured by Shenzhen Beam-Tech Electronic, ODM brands include ITARLIGHTS and FluxMotion, Belgium. Beam-Tech's products are also supplied as ODM brands in large Australian retail stores. One AliExpress seller offers this fixture with undisclosed battery at AUD$520. They are premium fixtures!
With NAMI systems, as a replacement to the stock NAMI headlight, a slightly different user interface applies. The TurboTorch M8 headlight will not automatically turn on when light switch is on. When the fixture (or remote) button is pressed, the headlight will turn on at full brightness. The same buttons adjust brightness and can turn off the headlight even if the light switch is on. Operation differs if connecting via the TurboTap NFC Bypass Switch with Auxiliary Power Output, which is fully independent of the light switch. Image shows the wiring configuration adopted on TurboTap M8 and the stock NAMI headlight. The connector can be adopted for other makes in accordance with this wiring configuration.
