The eScootNow TurboTap IoT Harness for NAMI (Type C) is a factory prepared harness that interconnects plug-and-play to NAMI Electric wiring systems, typically used to integrate IoT GPS trackers.
The 7-pin M8 female connector connects to the upper main line (leading up the stem) to the display.
The 7-pin M8 male connector connects to the lower main line to the controller.
The 4-pin Black JST SM rectangular connector is plug-and-play for Eelink IoT GPS Tracker devices or can be used for custom implementations, providing:
Two sources of power (+ve native system voltage) being:
Always-ON (red), which is always live drawing power from the battery circuit, and
Power-ON (orange). Power-ON is live when scooter is turned on, used for accessories signalling on IoT GPS Trackers, or other components that are best to turn on when scooter is turned on, such as light circuits, USB chargers etc.
Relay (yellow). This typically connects to immobiliser relay within the IoT device. The device relay closes this circuit to ground when immobiliser is activated which then drives the relay in the TurboTap IoT harness to open the dashboard signalling circuit (breaking the circuit) resulting in display throwing 30x comms errors and hence immobilised. A switch or another type of immobilisation device could also be used instead of IoT device for immobilisation.

Available in non-ruggedised, semi-ruggesdised or (fully) ruggedised. With each level, additional post-production fabrication is undertaken in eSN workshop, or you can do this yourself. With semi, 704 black insulating silicon rubber is applied to relay pins and a few additional zip ties are added to reduce stress. Fully ruggedised adds split sleeve and fabric tape finish.
Designed for plug-and-play fitting on NAMI makes including Burn-e, Blast & Klima.
Notes:
Released Q1 2022 as option to IoT GPS Tracker (over 20 units sold). Introduced for harness-only sale Q1 2025.
Co-design and peer reviewed by Michael Sha, NAMI - Ningbo, China.
