VDM-10 1000W 52V Motor suit Dragon Raptor

• 52 volt 1000 watt factory original motor suits front or rear VDM-10 such as ODM of Dragon (Raptor, both non-Pro and Pro variants), Bolzzen (Dynamo/Gladiator 5218), Apollo Ghost, Carbon Oxy & e-Glide Mach 10 and other ODM's.
• Will also suit other models according to dimension, for example understood to fit in T10-DDM (Zero 10X, Dragon Hunter X10 etc).
• Has motor hall sensors (for sine wave controllers) with crimped connectors on the controller end of the hall wires. These are not used in non-Sinewave controllers.
• Cable length 1 meter.
• Adopts 10mm depth on the rim cover bolt rather than older, less common 6.5mm.
• Order 2PCS for front and rear.
• Includes two axil nuts, two hook washers and four flat washers.
  • Optional six socket head M5 12.9 class 20mm rim bolts (for the rim cover, which is usually the 10mm type). The heads on the bolts have width of 7mm rather than the typical 8mm, but both can be used.
  • The white motor hall sensor connector housing shown adjacent to the bolts in product photo is not supplied - reuse existing.
• By default the option "with rim cover" will include the rim cover. First product image show the motor with adjacent 10mm rim cover on the bench. Second product image shows the rim cover fitted to motor ("with rim cover" option) with rim bolts shown in the 3rd image.
• 12mm axil thread with 10mm key. Length of the motor housing (between the inner washers) is ~132mm. Overall length of axil shaft ~192mm.
• Typically required when original motor has failed and/or motor cable damaged beyond feasible repair. These motors are pushed to limits, being "1000 watt" nominal nameplate rated, which is probably on the higher-end of physical design. At full throttle on most makes/models, these motors are driven at 1300 watts which sustained over period of time can result in pre-mature failure (excessive heat, prematurely fail bearings or adhesion on plates). eScootNow recommends to always ride in dual motor to spread load across the entire system.

2. Identical to that offered on AliExpress from MACURY Store and alias VSETT-SCOOTER Store at similar cost. Also often stocked by Bike Scooter City as Raptor motor.
3. Pre-2022 Apollo Ghost models had 800w nameplate marking on their motors, that motor can be renewed with the 1000w nameplate version.
4. Often in appropriately marketed as "1600 watts peak". At 52V on a 25a controller these would peak near 1300w, 1470w at 58.8v (which never happens).
5. Typically paired with VDM-10 controller.
