GX16 eScooter Charging Port Connector (3 pin panel socket to XT30 or XT60 / 2&3 pin plug/socket)

This is the most common electric scooter charger port amongst 48v, 60v and 72v systems, having the popular GX16 3-pin panel jack connector and internal yellow XT30 connector. Often used to replace physically damaged charging port on eScooters. Choice of:

• Prepared lead with panel socket and XT30 connector: Panel socket (the jack / charging port on scooter) with XT30 connector fitted on a lead of typical length 170mm. This is a 3-pin male panel mount socket (charging port), pre-fabricated on prepared lead with common yellow male XT30 male connector for battery interconnect. Industry standard pin 1 +ve and pin 3 -ve (always double check your factory/stock wiring polarity configuration, although this is common amongst almost every eScooter in the field). The item is typically sourced as a drop-in replacement for physically damaged eScooter charging port connectors. Note there are some variances amongst thread length to depending on the mounting style and thickness of panel:
  • Zero Factory Spare (as T10-DDM / Zero 10X spare) with 170mm 18AWG silicone rubber cable with more generous 10mm internal / rear thread. Has 4mm external / front thread. Recommended for inner / rear captive nut fitment on "thicker" side channels on Zero, Blade and Bolzzen TNE Sniper models (typically heavy / thick steel scooters).
  • Teverun factory spare with thinner, more rigid lead 190mm non-silicon cable with reasonably generous 7mm internal / rear thread and 4mm external / front thread. Recommended for internal / rear captive nut fitment on "thinner" side channels, allowing the charger port to be less "exposed" (protruding). Typically not long enough for external / front captive nut.
  • Kaabo factory spare (Warrior series) which is identical to Teverun but has thinner, more rigid and shorter 100mm non-silicon lead. Internal / rear 7mm for mounting on relatively thin substrates (including Kaabo Mantis), 4mm external / front thread.
  Allow 2mm of thread for securing the PU cover/hood. The captive nut is included.

• Prepared lead with panel socket and XT60 connector Zero. This is identical to the above XT30 Zero Factory Spare, but with larger XT60 connector (not shown). Usually charge ports on batteries are XT30, the XT60 is uncommon. The yellow XT60 connector housing has a width near that of the 16mm GX16 mounting hole and fitting the nut on the back of the socket requires multi-grips to force the nut over the XT60 connector which is of similar width.
• GX16 2-pin (reverse) or 3-pin solder plug/socket connectors only (no lead fitted): Available as:
  • 2-pin female panel socket (NAMI style) and 3-pin male line plug (a pair). Typically required to renew the plug on existing charger.
  • 3-pin male panel socket and 3-pin female line plug (a pair).
  • The panel socket is fitted to eScooter (although usually the prepared lead with XT30 is used for this purpose). The line plug is typically fitted to the end of the escooter charger lead and connects to the scooter to charge. These connector pairs have soldering terminal (no prepared leads fitted). Panel socket is suited for thinner substrates only for 5mm external / front or 6mm internal / rear thread.
• Panel mount Nut and Washer (only).
• Optional black PU cover/hood.

   This is the most common convention, showing as looking the plug on the charger. Pin 1 +ve and pin 3 -ve.
   If your scooter convention has -ve on Pin 2 (rather than more common 3) the wiring would need be switched over (cut/solder).
