This is the new tail light introduced late 2023 that mounts into the new tail-light compatible extended plastic fender (mudguard). Suits Burn-e, Klima and Blast.
Typically required when replacement is needed from physical damage, as uplift for better visibility on Burn-E (provides improved brightness over early generation tail-light with improved visual turn indication) or to replace the older generation rear Klima led strip lights that had harmonic distortion and impacted reliable operation of electric braking.
Requires tail-light compatible extended fender as that fender provides mounting point.
If you need two M4 x 10mm button head bolts and washers to mount this light to the new tail-light compatible extended fender, choose the option and they will be included.
Genuine NAMI Factory Spare, wired for plug-and-play installation.
Notes:
This product connects to the Green 5-pin e-bike connector on the lower (shorter) main cable. On Burn-e models without this tail light, that connector is used for the LED strip that runs around the perimeter of the battery. You can provide an additional 5-pin connector to run both concurrently with the Dual Light variant of the lower (shorter) main cable.
If you have the older yellow chase LED strip attached to the perimeter of the battery, indicators on this product and the LED strip will function concurrently. As the yellow chase strip has been discontinued, newer Burn-E models (~late 2023 onwards) will have no LED strip chase.
If retrofitting to Burn-e, cable routing along the non-extended fender can be undertaken by a) uplifting to the newer non-extended rear fender that has two holes for routing or b) drilling holes into side of your existing non-extended fender. Both methods achieve the same result, the cable is zip tied to holes in the non-extended fender.
Suits NUTT A5-D 2-piston calliper on early NAMI Burn-e, MUKUTA 10+, Limited models of Zero 10X/11X, Dragon Hunter X11, early Dragon Cyclone Pro & early VSETT and 4-piston callipers NUTT Y-5 & TurboBrake HB427-4M.
