Product Details
Brand: NAMI Electric
- Dashboard (commonly known as TFT Display or screen) to suit NAMI Electric scooter models Burn-e, Klima and Blast.
- Choose the appropriate variant. If unsure you can check the nameplate on the rear of Dashboard, presence of an "A" on second line indicates V2 (NFC). Product images show the V2. The two variants are:
- V1 (Non-NFC) suits non-card reader models (typically older Burn-e models), these models have a V1 main cable and no "A" suffix on nameplate.
- V2 (NFC) suits models with NFC card reader, these models have a NFC compatible V2 or V3 main cable and an "A" suffix on nameplate.
They key functional difference between V1 and V2 is the Power-ON and Power-OFF behaviour. The V2 NFC variant assumes the NFC is undertaking some power-ON/OFF switching and therefore has less involvement in power switching.
- Fitted with green 5-pin M8 male eBike connector that connects to the main cable.
- Includes the 4-button switching panel which provides: POWER, M (memory), + and - buttons. The panel is hard wired to the back of the dashboard.
- Includes all required mounting hardware: 2 larger nuts & bolts to secure display and 1 smaller nut & bolt for instrumentation switching panel.
- Typically required when replacement is needed from physical damage, water ingress or mis-wiring and often as resolution for communications controller error 301 (rear) & 302 (font).
Notes:
- Will not suit NAMI Stellar.
- Instrument Cover available as separate item.
- This is the "newer version" display which offers a brighter (more vibrant) and slightly larger display introduced early 2023.
- Ensure "P-Settings" are set appropriately. It is good practice to note the settings on your existing dashboard if possible. For example, having the incorrect voltage will prevent throttle from functioning.
- Fitting the inappropriate / wrong V1/V2 Dashboard can damage dashboard and other electrical system components, resulting in strange behaviour of lighting and status indicator on light turn and horn switch and power operation symptoms such as:
- Fitting a V1 non-NFC dashboard to a NFC V2 or V3 main cable would require NFC card reader swipe followed by press of the POWER button to Power ON the scooter. To avoid this, ensure you have appropriate V1 main cable.
- Fitting a V2 (NFC) dashboard to a non-NFC V1 main cable: scooter will always be on (and inability to power OFF) as the POWER button on V2 dashboard is disabled (bypassed, bridged always closed/ON). The only way to turn off the dashboard would be to unplug it. To avoid this, ensure you have appropriate V2 or V3 main cable (and NFC card reader) for the V2 NFC dashboard.
- It is observed on rare occasions that renewal of Dashboard to resolve 301 (rear) / 302 (font) error codes and often associated with multiple consecutive part failure (prior 201/202 controller errors, damaged main cables) that error codes can "burn in" (persist) and remain resident, including on newly fitted dashboard. This issue can arise from a dashboard being connected to a non-known good working eScooter. In instances where this occurs it is assumed Dashboard is (or has been) connected to controller(s) or main cables that is faulty/damaged, which has damaged the communications signalling within the dashboard and thus contaminating an otherwise good working Dashboard.
- On most builds / configurations, if you hold the M button the USB charge port enables which also prevents changing gear until you turn off USB.
- Equivalent:
- V1 Non-NFC: Bike Scooter City and Fluidfreeride.
- V2 NFC Bike Scooter City and Fluidfreeride.
