Tuovt 90/55-6 Semi Off-Road Tyre (tubeless) [TD-8009]

• The Tuovt 90/55-6 Semi Off-Road tyre suits most full-size / full profile 10" scooters with wider 6" tubeless rim. Suits:
  • NAMI Klima.
  • Front of Dragon GTR including V2 and likely GTS. Will not suit rear of GTR including V2 (and likely GTS) due to insufficient clearance on shock near the lower horizontal shock shaft. The common practice is to shave (grind, file or rotary tool) the shock to make clearance for rear. This tyre is marketed by Bike Scooter City (Dragon brand owner) as suitable.
  • This is the stock tyre on 6"rim models of Dragon Predator and Dragon Cyclone 10/Pro (occasionally amongst these models there is no self healing in original tyre), for 6.5" rim models consider Tuovt 90/55-6.5.
  • Suits tubed hubs (Dragon GTS series as mentioned), Wolf Warrior X, VSETT 10+, T10-DDM such as Zero 10 & 10X, Dragon X10 & MiniWalker. Will fit on Kaabo Mantis 10 series - clears but is close to swing arms and the valve hole as internal diameter is a relatively small. Ensure your pair screws are straight and you will clear.
• This tyre will not suit narrower split rims such as those on VDM-10 (Bolzzen Dynamo & Gladiator, Dragon Raptor & e-Glide Mach 10 - thanks to Ipswich Scooter Repairs for advising that one), a more clearance performance would be CST 10x3.00-6 "Performance Road".
• Unknown if will fit within Bolzzen Commando 10" / Dragon Slayer (Hota 80/65-6) and Mukuta (Tuovt 255x80).
• Semi off-road tread pattern that adopts the newer urban style footprint that is becoming factory standard for general purpose urban use. This tyre is relatively quiet and low on friction with smaller gaps between tread than more traditional semi off-roads which are more aggressive such as the Tuovt 255x80 (10x3). It maintains a relatively rounded contact surface area (footprint) to assist cornering response, while providing some reasonable tread to assist the tyre to maintain traction on terrain such as wet grass. Medium tread height (3.5mm).
• Width at bead is approximately 68mm (which is slightly wider than the CST with or without self healing and identical to the CST 3.50-6. Inflated diameter of approximately 252mm.
• Typical weight 900 grams which is heavy for a 10" tyre. eScootNow also offers the CST 10x3.00-6 Performance Road as a higher performance alternative for more demanding road environment applications, which is the ultimate Chinese nylon roadie available.

3. These tyres have been observed on a few occasions to "bubble" under high heat, whereby the tyre deforms under sustained high-demand use on hard surfaces. This is due to excessive heat. The bubble is observed amongst models that have high current controllers, with relatively light motors such as Dragon Predator.
