This tyre is often fitted in leu of 10x3.00-6 (both wider and narrower types), 10x3, 80/65/6 and 255x80 sizes including tubed type where there is sufficient width to clear swing arms and brake calliper. Additional compression is required to bring rim together. For example, this tyre will clear Zero 10X (T10-DDM), Kaabo Wolf Warrior X series and VSETT 10+. Runs inappropriately close to swing arms and partially covers valve hole on Kaabo Mantis 10. Will not clear Dragon Raptor (VDM-10). Some Dualtron models adopted this size tyre.
The rear of the Dragon GTR (including V2) has less clearance than front. The rear may require the lower extent of the shock absorber to be shave back several millimetres to accommodate this size tyre, despite this size being marketed by Bike Scooter City (Dragon brand owner) as suitable. It is common accepted practice to grind or file the shock to make clearance in rear without impacting structural integrity. Further info on Facebook Post. The stock 80/60-6 or DynoGrip 10x3.00-6 do not require shaving.
Production runs of Dragon Cyclone and Predator mid-late 2024 were built with 6.5" rim motors rather than the usual 6". Check your existing tyre nameplate to confirm size. The 6.5" models have VIN on Cyclone of DRA24CYCLONEPRO311 - DRA24CYCLONEPRO0400 and Predator 2024 models from DRA24PREDATOR0251+. For 6.5" rim models consider the stock Tuovt 90/55-6.5 tyre.
If needing to fit a tube consider the 10x3.0" Tube.
