Dragon GTR Tyres
The factory stock tyre on Dragon GTR models (including GTR V2) is Chao Yang 80/60-6 Semi-Off Road.
The Semi is typically renewed with the Tuovt which is the stock tyre on Cyclone and Predator models. The Tuovt is generally considered a better performer in all aspects as it is less square than the Chao Yang. Tuovt has a more favourable tread pattern for road whereas Chao Yang has larger "chunks" of tread. The DynoGrip rounds up even further, similar to the CST 10x3.00-6 road. The Tuovt is not known to bubble due to heat on GTR but can on higher performing models..
Road options include the Tuovt which offers impressive rim protection as it is relatively square. For more the best performance on road, the stock NAMI Klima tyre, CST 10x3.00-6.
The self-healing liner versions are recommended for puncture resilience on terrain such as side of major roads and industrial areas. It is recommended to renew the TR438 valve when renewing tyre.
