Performance road tyre suits 6.5" rims of NAMI Burn-e, Wolf Warrior 11/GT, Dragon Hurricane, Rear of Dragon Predator 6.5" rim model, Zero 11X & VSETT 11+. Typically fitted in lieu of 90/65-6.5 and 100/65-6.5 sizes which are void of performance road options.
Has a slight "panther paw" tread pattern with slightly larger tread pattern in contrast to the swirl of the ULIP.
ZC Rubber (CHAOYANG) announced the introduction of Semi-Hot Melt track-grade products in 2022 in ZCfamily magazine (page 26). Semi-Hot Melt "address the issue of tyre slippage when electric vehicles and motorbikes travel at high speeds". "It is less impacted by temperature since it is made of a semi-hot melt compound, and it has outstanding wear resistance, grip performance, and stability. The new tyres can achieve the effect of halving braking distance". In 2022, ZC Rubber overtook Yokahama Rubber Japan as the 8th largest company in the global tyre industry. There are now several manufactures producing SHM tyres, in appropriate shape and this is finally progressing to typical eScooter sizes.

Typically SBR becomes "harder" at temperature, further improving tyre wear resistance. The Semi-Hot Melt additives provides the "softer surface" to enhance grip under acceleration, braking and sharp cornering.

DynoRoad combines a harder compound that offers less resistance with improving longevity and efficiency due to using SBR compound. Adhesion (traction) is due to the tyre being mixed and vulcanized with Semi-Hot Melt preparation and therefore provides impressive adhesion with a long lasting compound. The nameplate PSI pressure ratings is similar to "Chinese Nylons" at 50 PSI, which reduces resistance and provides a more efficient ride. This is a performance road tyre for ultimate adherence to hard surfaces in all weather environments at high pressure.
The factory claims to be the only manufacturer of this type of tread pattern using this process and one of the first to produce SHM eScooter tyres. The tread is a copy / "knock off" of the PMT Stradale and the tyre is slightly thicker at 8.8mm vs 6.5mm on a PMT Stradale. This tyre and the 10x3 (80/65-6) are the only SHM tyre that the factory currently produces in this pattern.
Road tread for the urban use in all weather conditions. These tyres have a round racing footprint similar to PMT Stradale and DynoSlick to assist cornering response.

Typically with Xuancheng branding. These tyres are manufactured by Beijing Xuancheng New Energy Technology Co.,Ltd. (XC). TH-026-01 identifier on sidewall. 4PR (ply rating). 50 PSI (relatively high pressure, low rolling resistance for optimised range / efficiency and rim protection). XC catalogue item: XC-026.
Observed uninflated width: 97-104mm (typical 99mm), internal diameter 158mm (6.2") to accommodate 6.5" (165.1mm) rim. Observed uninflated diameter 258mm (10.2") with factory specified inflated diameter of 270mm (10.6"). Has a relatively large 78mm width at bead with nameplate standard rim 2.5" (63.5mm).
This was the first size released in this series, with the 10x3 (80/65-6) variant introduced Q3 2024. eScootNow is proud to be the first to bring this tyre to our region and works closely works closely with the factory to sustain the self healing variety. Self healing availability can be periodic, if self-healing is your preference, is recommended to hold a spare on-hand as production lead times can be result in absence of stock at times.

Notes

Advice on fitting 2mm spacer to assist clear Logan 4-Piston calliper hose on Burn-e. Generally most riders to not fit the spacer and are happy for side of tyre to sit close to calliper.
Across a sample size of 14 tyres it was found in one instance that all four tyres fitted developed imbalance within 2kms of ride from fitment, whereby the self-healing liner shifted (two Wolf Warrior King GT scooters). There has been no other reports of liner failure. If you find imbalance develops, please advise eScootNow. Best practice when fitting with liner is to ensure it is not disturbed (and is well seated) when fitting, and potentially run up on the bench (free wheel) at high speed to allow centrifugal force to seat liner.
