Brand: Kaabo
- The Kaabo Controller 60V 25A K1 V1 {LT01 & CM06-K1} (suit select Mantis 10) is the factory stock controller on inaugural Kaabo Mantis 10 models, those prior to 2022. These models were without a headlight on the stem (and associated 3-pin yellow M8 plug) and were the inaugural "Plus" badge models often marketed in Australia as "Duo" (for dual motor) to differentiate it from the Mantis 10 PRO+ model which has the MiniMotors controller.
- This "V1" version is a legacy controller with black JST SM connectors which connect directly to the main lines. The subsequent V2 version controllers have white JST XH connectors which connect to the hub / wire collection board. Both versions use K1 (signalling) protocol and the are typically accompanied with the LT01 display/throttle. Both versions are legacy with the transition to the K2 protocol controller in 2025 which is usually accompanied with the CM06-K2 Kaabo Display (NFC).
- Commonly required to due to damage from water ingress and/or MOSFET damage which can result in resistance on wheel when attempting to freewheel by hand when controller is connected.
- Supplied individually, order both A (Rear) and B (Front) for both front and rear controllers.
Notes:
- Refer to Reference Materials for Kaabo Page for technical info including wiring diagram guidance.
- Some controllers (across both V1 and V2) have presence of a relatively thick gauge black wire with a gold bullet connector that is used to interconnect the two controllers (A+B) as a method of grounding/earth. If these wires are present on both controllers, connect these together. Leave unutilised if not present on one or both of the controllers.
