Brand: Kaabo
- The Kaabo Controller 60V 25A K1 V2 {LT01 & CM06-K1} (suit select Mantis 10) is the factory stock controller on Kaabo Mantis 10 models circa 2022 through to 2024. Those models introduced a headlight on the stem and retained badge designation of "Plus" and marketing name of "Duo" (for dual motor) to differentiate it from the Mantis 10 PRO+ model which has the MiniMotors controller.
- This "V2" version has white JST XH connectors which connect to the hub / wire collection board. The predecessor controller is the V1 version has black JST SM connectors and is without hub / wire collection board (V1 controller wires connect directly to the main lines). Both versions use K1 (signalling) protocol and the are typically accompanied with the LT01 display/throttle. Both versions are legacy with the transition to the K2 protocol controller in 2025 which is usually accompanied with the CM06-K2 Kaabo Display.
- Commonly required to due to damage from water ingress and/or MOSFET damage which can result in resistance on wheel when attempting to freewheel by hand when controller is connected.
- Supplied individually, order both A (Rear) and B (Front) for both front and rear controllers.
Notes:
- Refer to Reference Materials for Kaabo Page for technical info including wiring diagram guidance.
- Some controllers (across both V1 and V2) have presence of a relatively thick gauge black wire with a gold bullet connector that is used to interconnect the two controllers (A+B) as a method of grounding/earth. If these wires are present on both controllers, connect these together. Leave unutilised if not present on one or both of the controllers. It is also often observed across V2 controller models with hub / wire collection board that a smaller gauge black wire runs from the hub / wire collection board to the underside of deck screw, assumed for similar grounding purpose.
