Brand: Kaabo
- The Kaabo Controller 60V 2x27A V2 {EY3} (select Mantis 10 inc PRO+ / Wolf Warrior X PRO+) is the factory stock controller on:
- Kaabo Mantis 10 models of PRO+ models introduced in 2022 and subsequent Elite & SE badges. It is also factory fitted as option on select 10 Plus badge models including those marketed as "V2 2025".
- Kaabo Wolf X PRO+.
These models have a MiniMotors EY3 display/throttle and hub / wire collection board.
- This "V2" version has white JST XH connectors which connect to the hub / wire collection board. The predecessor controller on Mantis is the V1 version with black JST SM connectors and without hub / wire collection board (V1 controller wires connect directly to the main lines). Both versions use MiniMotors (signalling) protocol and the are typically accompanied with the MiniMotors EY3 display/throttle.
- Commonly required to due to damage from water ingress and/or MOSFET damage which can result in resistance on wheel when attempting to freewheel by hand when controller is connected.
- Often referred to as a "2-in-1" as it is a dual motor controller (for both wheels)..
Notes:
- Refer to Reference Materials for Kaabo Page for technical info including wiring diagram guidance.
- It is observed across V2 controller models with hub / wire collection board that a smaller gauge black wire runs from the hub / wire collection board to the underside of deck screw, assumed for grounding purpose.
- Image below shows testing power output from controller. This is one of the troubleshooting methods that can be adopted to determine if the controller is delivering power to the hub / wire collection board via the white XHB 9-pin connector. The meter shows power across the red and black wires.
