The NAMI Front Turn Signal is mounted on the handlebar to provides yellow turning indicators and white DRL (Daytime Running Light).
Introduced in March 2024, the red 3-pin M8 plug connects to the V3 Main Cable which provides the two necessary connectors.
Suits Burn-e, Klima and Blast.
Typically sourced to retrofit front turn signal capability or as replacement to existing physically damaged signals.
Supplied individually, suits either left OR right. Order qty 2 pieces for both left and right (both sides, or "a set").
Includes plastic bracket and mounting hardware (M3 12mm button head bolt, nut and lock nut).
Genuine NAMI Factory Spare, wired for plug-and-play installation.
Notes:
The first product image (on the timber workbench) shows 4 turn signals. The top right quadrant shows the complete, assembled turn signal.
The white DRL remains on when scooter is powered on ("constantly on"). It is not switched via light switch. These LED's don't consume much power so impact on battery draw down is negligible. The flashing of the turn signals is independent, if both are turned on (such as hazard light) synchronisation is not expected as demonstrated in video by Gie On Scoot.
Typically 3-pin M8 connectors are yellow (such as throttle) and red is 2-pin (such as brake lever switch). Red 3-pin is likely adopted here to differentiate from the yellow 3-pin M8 connector on Main Cable that is purposed for throttle. When fitting, ensure you visually inspect the integrity of the male pins in the connectors, note the location of the notch/key, and ensure the appropriate colour and number of pins is in place before connecting.
The product was in design for many years, the concept design dates back to September 2022.
NAMI also offer an improved rear turn signal with the rear tail light, introduced late 2023.
This factory video produced March 2024 shows the signals in use:
For those intending to use on non-NAMI makes:
The fixtures operate at native system voltage (60/72V systems).
As the turn signalling is negative (-ve) switched, the fixtures adopt positive (+ve) common. Prior to this product being produced, it was necessary to implement NPN/PNP switching of aftermarket +ve switched fixtures in -ve switched systems.
