EZmtb Hydraulic Brake Bleed Kit

• Keep your hydraulic brake lines topped up to maintain braking performance with this commonly adopted brake bleed kit.
• Adaptors/joints are metal (copper/gold coloured), rather than yellow plastic.
• Includes: two syringes, one bottle and funnel.
• Available in choice of case: hard or soft. The hard case requires a little bit of Tetris to pack everything back.
• Suit most makes/models with adaptors supporting the common eScooter brake systems of:
  • Zoom:
    Kaabo, VSETT, Teverun, Dragon Lightning V1/V2.
  • NUTT A5-D (XOD XD-H800/880):
    Older NAMI, early model VSETT and early model Dragons (Cyclone, potentially Predator etc) - the black calliper with white Dragon branding (A5-D) as shown on the Shimano B01S related pad page.
    Note the adaptor in the kit isn't a perfect fit for NUTT A5-D / Y-5 Levers. Additional O rings and/or Plumbers tape is often needed for the thread, or you can use additional adaptor offered as option which also supports the newer Non-NUTT Dragon models (see below).
  • and Logan:
    Newer NAMI 2-Piston and all 4-Piston Burn-e.
• Optional bleed adaptor: This adaptor is not included in the common bleed kits. This optional adaptor is the one included in Teverun bleed kits. Suits NUTT systems and the HB427-H Dragon branded callipers (typically yellow) easily identified as those with hook pad (Predator and later models of Cyclone, Lightning V2, Beast, etc). Include option for two if intending to do full bleed top and bottom. It is best to use these adaptors with additional O rings, especially with NUTT due to limited depth. To a lesser extent you can have some success with the adaptors that are included in the common bleed kits by augmenting with O rings and/or plumbers tape.

• eScootNow also stocks EZmtb branded 60ml Hydraulic Mineral Oil (brake fluid) to accompany this kit. Mineral Oil is not included with the kit.

Notes:

1. The last product image shows both the plastic and metal kits. eSN no longer supplies the plastic adaptors/joints. The metal adapters/joints offer better longevity than plastic and a more professional, positive and sharp feel on threads.
2. Applying plumbers tape can often work around thread incompatibility.
3. To undertake a full bleed, typically one syringe and funnel is used (calliper/lever accordingly).
4. This kit is also seen branded as TOOPRE. Designated as 2022 STD (standard) variant. The STD differs from the Pro with the later including SRAM components (for SRAM brake systems which are not adopted on eScooters). Some of the earlier kits had less/different adaptors which may not have supported some NUTT brake systems.
5. Periodic servicing of hydraulic brake lines is typically required every 6 months / 1000kms.
