TurboBrake Brake Bleed Adaptor
Product Details
Brand: TurboBrake by eScootNow
The TurboBrake Brake Bleed Adaptor has a relatively small, fine and long M5 8mm 0.75mm pitch thread.
Adaptors connect bleed kit tooling to the "bleed hole" in callipers and levers, forming an airtight seal for bleeding brake lines.
Supports the common 4mm internal diameter bleed kit clear tube hosing to connect syringe and funnels.
This adaptor is longer than the M5 adaptors included in the common bleed kits, it also has different thread pitch. It has shorter length than those required for the newer Logan and NUTT levers.
Dragon (Langfeite) models that adopt HB427-H 2-piston brakes such as models of:
Predator, Cyclone (including Pro and later model non-Pro), later model Lightning V2 & Beast.
Teverun models of Blade and Fighter.
Includes 7mm (OD) x 1.5mm (cross section) o'ring.
You will need two (quantity 2) if intending to do full bleed top and bottom.
Notes:
These are the OEM bleed adaptors from levers of ODM TurboBrake, factory-fitted on aforementioned Teverun and Dragon makes. Identical to the one included in Teverun bleed kits.
TurboBrake levers have a thread for the bleed hole screw, which once removed reveals a different thread further down inside the bleed hole for the adaptor (recessed, separate). Only a small amount of thread on the end of the adaptor forms connection (~1mm). When inserting, apply downforce in turn, at the point where the O ring begins to compresses. Do not overtighten.
This adaptor is long and skinny, with only a small amount of thread on the end of the adaptor forming connection with the TurboBrake lever (approx ~1mm of thread bites as the O ring compresses, apply force in turn to lightly compress the o'ring). These systems have a separate, recessed thread for bleed vs that on the bleed hole screw.
In absence of this adaptor, often adaptors that are included in the common bleed kits can be augmenting with O rings and/or plumbers tape, or you can use a syringe with appropriate size nozzle.
