Keep your hydraulic brake lines topped up to maintain braking performance with this commonly adopted brake bleed kit.
Adaptors/joints are metal (copper/gold coloured), rather than yellow plastic.
Includes: two syringes, one bottle and funnel.
Available in choice of case: soft or hard. The soft case is a heavy sealed zip-lock bag. The hard case is has an un-selaed lid, repacking requires a little bit of Tetris to fit in the case.
Suit most makes/models with adaptors supporting the common eScooter brake systems of:
Zoom equipped on models of:
Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 / GT, GTR, Wolf Warrior X, Mantis Pro, Mantis King GT, Later model VSETT, Select Zero 10X (T10-DDM) including Dragon Hunter, early model Teverun Figher, Dragon Lightning V1/V2.
Some Zoom levers have a smaller thread, others of different generation have larger thread, identical to that of the calliper (same). There is only one adaptor of that courser thread in the kit (adding o'rings from others may assist).
Early model (typically) NUTT A5-D (XOD XD-H800/880) equipped on:
Very early model NAMI Burn-e models, early model VSETT and early model Dragons (Cyclone, potentially Predator etc) - the black calliper with white Dragon branding (A5-D) as shown on the Shimano B01S related pad page.
There are two adaptor in the kit suitable for the older version NUTT A5-D / Y-5 levers. The newer NUTT levers are understood to require an the same adaptors as mentioned below for newer Logan type. Do not rely on a larger thread taking to the casing near the head of the bleed screw.
Early model (typically pre-2025) Logan equipped:
NAMI models Burn-e, Blast, Klima and hydraulic models of Stellar, either the Logan 2 or 4-Piston. These earlier models have an M3x5mm 0.5mm pitch screw. The newer (early 2025 onwards) Logan levers (and newer NUTT) require a longer M5 0.75mm pitch adaptor (length >8mm to 12mm).
The last product image shows both the plastic and metal kits. eSN no longer supplies the plastic adaptors/joints. The metal adapters/joints offer better longevity than plastic and a more professional, positive and sharp feel on threads.
Both Logan and NUTT have transitioned to more "modern" thread where the bite takes place at the bottom of the lever, requiring a deep adaptor. Applying plumbers tape to an inappropriate adaptor that bites on the housing is often a work around if done carefully with a "pull down" bleed.
To undertake a full bleed, typically one syringe and funnel is used (calliper/lever accordingly).
This kit is also seen branded as TOOPRE. Designated as 2022 STD (standard) variant. The STD differs from the Pro with the later including SRAM components (for SRAM brake systems which are not adopted on eScooters).
Periodic servicing of hydraulic brake lines is typically required every 6 months / 1000kms.
Video showing how to bleed Zoom 2-piston callipers. It is observed there are two types of threads adopted on Zoom levers. Understood the older type is narrower than the wider later type, these kits only have one of the wider adaptors. Typically another adaptor from the kit is augmented with O rings or plumbers tape to for seal.
Consider adding a TurboBrake Brake Bleed Adaptor (M5x8 0.75mm pitch) for systems of: TurboBrake, Yellow Dragon branded callipers of Predator & later models of Cyclone, Lightning V2, Beast, select Teverun Blade / Fighter systems. This specific sized adaptor is not included in the common bleed kits. This adaptor suits all TurboBrake HB427 series brakes (including the Yellow Dragon branded callipers) and is identical to that in the Teverun bleed kit. This adaptor is long and skinny, with only a small amount of thread on the end of the adaptor forming connection with the TurboBrake lever (approx ~1mm of thread bites as the O ring compresses, apply force in turn). These systems have a separate, recessed thread for bleed vs that on the bleed hole screw. eSN recommends having two adaptors for full bleed top and bottom.
Suits Zoom 2-piston callipers on Kaabo models of Mantis Pro & Wolf Warrior X/11/GT/GTR, Dragon Slayer and early model Lightning/Beast, later VSETT and hydraulic equipped Zero.
Suits NUTT A5-D 2-piston calliper on early NAMI Burn-e, MUKUTA 10+, Limited models of Zero 10X/11X, Dragon Hunter X11, early Dragon Cyclone Pro & early VSETT and 4-piston callipers NUTT Y-5 & TurboBrake HB427-4M.
