Brand: NAMI Electric
The NAMI Electric Brake Switch Sensor (Hall & Mechanical) M8 (suit Burn-e, Klima and Blast) [Logan] are NAMI Electric Factory Spares to suit Logan lever equipped models of Burn-e (typically early 2022+), Klima and Blast.
They have either a hall effect sensor or mechanical switch mechanism to inform the controller of the brake lever position. This typically cuts throttle, activates the motor electric brake, illuminates the brake light and presents status on the dashboard (display).
Sourced as NAMI factory spare. Will support most makes/models that adopt Logan levers. The mechanical version may suit other levers such as those from NUTT (A5-D such as those on early model Dragon Cyclone) and XOD (H800/H880).
Available in two variants to suit the "older or newer" Logan lever variants:
Hall sensor: For older Logan levers: Uses a 6.2mm diameter magnetic hall switch to sense positioning. The nut is smaller and separate from the moulding. Similar to those used on Zoom levers on Kaabo models.
Mechanical: For newer Logan levers: Has a mechanical actuator on the end to sense positioning. The nut is larger and forms part of the moulding. Observed in field early 2025 onwards.
Ensure you pair the appropriate switch with your lever, as they are not interoperable/universal.
Adopts the common convention used amongst nearly all eScooter makes and models with a red 2-pin M8 connector being normally open (when lever is not activated the circuit is open) and closed when the lever is activated. Cable length 80mm.
Typically required as replacement when electric brake and brake lights will not apply, or will continuously or intermittently activate despite lever not being engaged and calibration will not resolve symptoms.
Notes:
Prior to removing, fitting or calibrating the position of the switch, check presence of and back off grub screw that secures the bolt's position within the lever. Keep an eye out for the spring that resides inside the older Logan levers.
It is recommended to only adjust/calibrate one switch at a time and allow to bed-in prior to adjusting the other lever. Adjusting both concurrently can complicate fault finding and make it difficult to fine tune.
As the switch for older Logan Levers is a hall sensor which works similar to reed switch on a door. Be mindful it is impacted by proximity to other magnets such as those in the throttle. If the two are placed closely together, the throttle which can cause unexpected brake signalling. The newer levers have physical mechanical switch which does not interact with other magnetics
Be mindful the newer Logan Lever switch being a mechanical / physical mechanisms is more vulnerable to damage than the older Lever hall sensor version, due to dependance on physical contact. Ensure your calibration is perfect to prevent damaging (crushing) the switch mechanism.
Some of the videos below explain calibration. ESN recommends calibrating the switch so that it activates firstly, then as the lever is continued to be depressed the physical pads engage. This allows the electric brake to activate firstly and fully engage predictably and consistently. It provides opportunity for the rider to brace for electric brake appropriately by shifting body weight and stance as it engages.

Image below shows the switch of the Older Logan Lever (upper) contrasted with the similar appearance Zoom Switch for Zoom levers (lower). Both have a 6.2mm diameter with the Zoom having a notch/key that is wider (and a little shorter). It may not be possible to retrofit the Zoom one into the Logan levers.
