The Logan 4-piston brake calliper is the factory stock 4-piston calliper on NAMI Burn-e Max models. It fits all NAMI models and most other eScooter makes/models that require left orientation callipers.
Supplied as NAMI Factory Spare. If fitting to non-NAMI models, note these callipers are left orientation. This orientation defines the location of the hydraulic line termination as you look at the outer side of the calliper mounted on the scooter. Calliper with left orientation, sitting on top of swing arm will suit rear left hand side of scooter & front right hand side. It will also suit front left hand side if located "behind the fork".
You can see in image below showing the Left orientation on all NAMI makes. The rear calliper is on the left hand side above swing arm, hence Left orientation. Front is on the right hand side above swing arm on Burn-E and Klima, and on left behind the swing arm ("forks") on Blast.
Orientation for other common makes/models:
Kaabo Warrior = Right with exception to the GTR which adopts Left at front.
Kaabo Mantis 8/10 = Left.
Teverun Fighter = Left.
Dragon Hurricane = Right orientation.
Includes F180/R160 bracket, two bolts to attach calliper to bracket, a set of pads, the pad securing pin (which is black threaded bolt) and hydraulic line with barb for termination to the lever.
Supplied individually (one calliper) with choice of line length variation:
Front Right Hand Side (1.28 meters), or
Rear Left orientation (2.1 meters)
Callipers are identical, differing only in hydraulic line length.
Optional hardware available for termination to brake lever:
Olive/bushing (only).
5-piece kit: Includes olive (bushing), compression nut and cover (hood/boot), the 3 pieces shown below plus pair of M6 x 18mm socket head bolts with washers (shown in product images) to secure bracket to swing arm.
The compression nut and cover can often be re-used, bushing/olive is typically single use.
Hydraulic line type: BH59 (common eScooter type with larger inner diameter).
Typically required when replacement is needed from physical damage, or hydraulic leak.
Genuine NAMI Factory Spare, wired for plug-and-play installation for fitters competent / fluent with hydraulic brake callipers. Typically requires bleeding when fitting (such as this kit).
Calliper uses this Brake Pad, it is assumed the stock pad in the calliper adopts a Organic Resin Semi-Metal compound.
This Logan calliper is also adopted by Zoom as their inaugural 4-piston calliper, HB-876, seen here Zoom branded.
For application in other makes (non-NAMI), if you require different orientation (Front Left / Rear Right) consider eScootNow TurboBrake after market callipers.
Typically paired with Logan Levers which have a nice feel, less "floppy" than that of Zoom levers although the Zoom has a very sharp and responsive feel with regard to modulation.
These can be fitted to uplift 2-piston systems such as that in Klima and Burn-e 2 Non-Max as shown by DJ High Voltage, although Sergio Sellani suggests in most instances alignment of bracket requires additional effort not shown.
