NAMI Motor 72V 1500w & 1000w (suit Burn-e)

• Motor (hub motor / entire wheel) suit NAMI Electric scooter Burn-e series.
• Choose appropriate wattage:
  • 1500 watts: for Max models (Burn-e Max 35Ah and Burn-e 2 Max 32/40Ah). These models run 50A controllers (4000w). 60 magnet design. Water Proof or Bullet connector variations. Choose the appropriate connector variant to ensure "plug-and play" fitment, negating need to modify the three motor "phase wires" and hall sensor connector. The two variants are:
  • Bullet: suits older models, typically most Burn-E Max (non-2 models) - these were produced in 2021. Adopts three separate motor "phase" wires (green, blue, yellow) and a black JST SM 5-pin connector for hall. 120cm cable length. Universal Front or Rear.
  • Water Proof / Integrated: suits the newer models, typically those produced after 2021. This variant has an integrated moulded connector "quick disconnect connector" that has the three motor "phase" wires and hall sensor wires within a single, water proof, plug. Front motor cable length 97cm, rear cable length is 29cm (rear is shorter).
  • 1000 watts: for Non-Max model (Burn-e 2, 28Ah). This model runs a 30A controllers (2400w). 45 magnet design. Uses Water Proof / Integrated connector.

• NAMI adopts a M14 shaft (axil) with 10mm key.
• Includes 7-piece kit containing: TR438 Valve Stem, 2x M14 axil nut, 2x washers (one thinner than other) and 2x hook washers.
• Width of 1500w motor at rim measures 61.88mm.
• Typically required when entire motor replacement is needed from physical damage to the casing, wire damage, water ingress or mis-wiring. These motors generally have pretty good reliability, although there were known premature hall sensor failures amongst some 1500 watt 2023 models that would throw error code 201 rear, 202 font.

Notes:

1. Product images show 1500W Front Motor with Water Proof / Integrated connector (cable measures 97 cm length). The last motor image shows the older, bullet style connector version (120 cm length).
2. You can fit the heavy 1500 watt motor as an alternative to the lighter 1000 watt one. eSN typically stocks the heavy 1500 watt and takes special order (via pre-order) on 1000 watt motors.

4. The 7-piece kit is universal across Klima and Burn-e motors. The hook washers in the kit are similar to that of the 3 wide washers in the TurboTight Motor Washer Kit M16 (Wolf Warrior 11/GT), abet those washers have 10mm overall depth, the overall depth of NAMI hook washers are 6.5mm (less deep).
5. Often physical damage to the rim (outer hub) such as an edge of rim bend, buckle or fracture at bead/heal can be resolved by Rim for the Motor which is the outer assembly of motor (rim with magnets).
6. Some older 1500w motors may adopt a different configuration of motor washers than newer types in rare instances. The number and/or thickness of washers (that support motor hook washers) may vary amongst older versions of motor housing, so note the alignment if making transition and position washers appropriately.
7. 1000 watt motors, i.e. those in the non-Max model (28Ah) all use the newer waterproof integrated connector.
8. Factory paper sticker designation label "01" observed on Bullet 1500w and 1500w rim with magnets, Klima motors "03".
9. When out of stock, pre-orders can be made and are typically filled within 6 weeks, usually less, as factory orders are placed monthly. If the item shows as in stock (available), this reflects local inventory, Brisbane.
10. Alternative stockists: NAMI SAS France and Bike Scooter City (who usually stock the newer Water Proof /integrated connector version).
11. Renew motor seals periodically. Bearings as required, reported to be 6203 and 6204 on Burn-e 2 Max (1500w) according to Yann Lesueur and observed on nameplate of bearings in the 1500w Bullet product photo's (6204-2RS-Z3V3 and 6203RS).
